Hi, I’m Yitong Chen.
Professional Experience
From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a data mining engineer at Zhejiang Lab. During this period, I led and participated in projects related to Research on intelligent social governance, resulting in below published studies:
- Enterprise Credit Early Warning Model and Empirical Analysis Based on LightGBM and SHAP Values(CNKI: Link)
- The Performance Evaluation of the “River Chief System” on Comprehensive Pollution Control in the River Basin——Taking Some River Sections of Zhejiang Province in the Taihu Lake Basin as an Example(CNKI: Link)
Academic Background
I have graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2019. My master’s research focused on Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) with my supervisor Vassilis Kostakos. Our work is published here Application of miniaturized near-infrared spectroscopy in pharmaceutical identification.
I enrolled in the PhD program at the University of Minho, Portugal in the 2025/2026 academic year, under the joint supervision of Adriano José Conceição Tavares, Carlos S. Lima and Yanchun Liang. My ongoing research continues to focus on machine learning and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS).
